We landed and walked to the Seine to stay awake. Took about ten photos of Notre-Dame from the bridge, then went closer for the towers. Neither of us can remember where we put the room key.

We got the Galerie d'Apollon almost to ourselves. So much gold. Feet were done by dusk but we hung around the courtyard until the Louvre pyramid lit up. Most of the video is us debating dinner.

We ate baguette and cheese by the pond in the Luxembourg Gardens. Crumbs all over us. Watched kids push the little sailboats around, then made it as far as the palace before looking for another chair.

A few things before you start your Journal
What is an AI travel journal?
It's a place to keep the trips you've taken. In Mara, each trip becomes a Stamp in your Journal: a little postage stamp with the place, the year and an illustration Mara draws from one line you write. Open a Stamp to keep what you wrote about each Day and the photos that go with it.
How does Mara draw my stamp?
You write one line about what you want to remember, like a picnic by a pond or a tram ride up a hill. Mara turns that line and the place into one illustration in her house style. Only those two things are sent to the AI, never your photos. A free account gets 5 drawings a month, and you can always pick from Mara's house set instead.
How do I add an old trip to Mara?
Type in the place, then add the exact dates or just the month and year. You can leave the date blank too. Exact dates cover up to 60 days. For a trip planned in Mara, you can make it a Stamp from the day the trip starts.
How does Mara keep my photos and videos?
Your photos and videos go on the Day they belong to, on that Stamp's page, stored privately. We keep the time each one was taken and remove the location and other details. Videos can be up to 60 seconds long. We never send your photos or videos to an AI.
Is my Journal private?
Yes. Your Journal is yours alone to see until you share it. Send a read-only link to one Stamp or your whole Journal when you want to show someone. The shared page shows your first name and nothing else about your account. You can turn the link off any time.
Can I use the travel journal for free?
Yes, a free account has room for up to 100 Stamps, with up to 60 photos and 10 videos on each. You also get 5 drawings a month. Pro gives you more room: 500 Stamps, up to 300 photos and 30 videos each, and 30 drawings a month. Pro is on a waitlist for now.
