How often does Mara check vacation package prices?
Once a day on the free plan, and as often as every 6 hours on Pro. Every check is recorded, so your tracker builds a full price history with the all-time low flagged, and you can trigger a manual check when you can’t wait (a few per day during beta).
How do price drop alerts work?
When a check finds your package cheaper by at least your minimum drop (default $10 CAD), at a new all-time low, or under your budget for the first time, Mara alerts you in the app and by email, either instantly or batched into a daily, weekly, or monthly digest.
Does Mara rebook or hold prices for me?
No. Mara watches prices and tells you the moment acting is worth it. Booking stays in your hands, with a link to the exact live provider results the price came from.
What is the difference between a lowest price calendar and a price tracker?
A lowest price calendar shows the cheapest dates at the moment you look. A price tracker watches one specific trip over time, records every price, and alerts you when it falls: the whole story instead of a snapshot.
What if the price drops after I book my vacation package?
Most package providers do not price match, but many packages can be cancelled without fees, so check your package terms. Mara keeps watching after you book, so if the price falls you can decide whether cancelling and rebooking saves real money.
